We are building a straw house in a sleepy village called Krakes in Lithuania. As theatre makers we intend to make work and run workshops in the Kėdainiai region and beyond. My partner, Erika, is Lithuanian and we have a two year old girl called Minija who speaks better Lithuanian than me. I am slowly learning this ancient and difficult language. This blog will be an opportunity to share our experiences here as we build our new house and theatre company. Currently I am working towards making my first solo theatre performance inspired by the life of Cornish artist Peter Lanyon.
